Such public humiliation, in the hands of low-lives like Mimi Sebehatu, would never happen even against an ordinary cadre let alone a seating minister, if Juneydi was a Tigrean. 

The irony is that Juneydi has been one of the biggest Trojanhorses for Al Habash and therefore his debacle has nothing to do with the ongoing protest. The real reason behind these attacks on him is primarily the result of the intra-TPLF power struggle. Sebehat Nega' faction is wiping out Azeb's loyalists within the affiliate parties, in preparation for internal showdown. Mr Nega is fueling his tactics with ethno-religious prejudices and collective paranoia of his party's rank and file. 
If this faction wins, which looks like it is going to, we should expect TPLF to become even more fascist than ever before.
